Welcome to the home of the British Federation of Land and Sand Yacht Clubs (BFSLYC), the governing body for land sailing in the UK. Sailing a land yacht is similar to sailing a boat or yacht except it is on the land, typically a beach or runway. The other difference to sailing on water is that it land yacht will travel faster than the wind. This makes the sport not only exciting to participate in, it is great fun to watch as the yachts race by.
